Gingham & Leather

The unlikeliest of pairings involves sweet red gingham and bold back (faux) leather. I'm big on juxtaposition here so I decided to attempt it. Sugar and spice, it looks very nice. Don't knock it 'til you try it, hey?

I'm all about expanding my sartorial horizon lately. I've always been a huge fan of barrette and crop tops with high-waisted jeans but blue denim and sneakers are a relatively new addition to my wardrobe. Mom jeans and white sneakers make me feel a bit like Jerry Seinfeld, and the gingham top is very Dawn Wells in Gilligan's Island. A classic Moto jacket is undeniably Fonzie so tell me I'm not a melange of some of history's greatest TV characters. (As for the white Vans... Rocket Power?)
