Gingham & Brown Buttons

Long time no see! I'm still working to get my life back on track and my dosage just right so thank you for bearing with me as I normalize and level out. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, take a look at this post—but if you're going to leave a mean comment, it'll just get deleted or you'll get some sass back so just don't do it.) 

Clearly, I have some catching up to do. It'll happen in time so here's a post that's over a month and a half old. It's still aright though, because summer is still going strong, and what's more summery than gingham and a crop top? I love this top because of the big ole buttons. I've always had a thing for buttons and these are just wonderful. I think they add the perfect amount of detail to an otherwise simple piece of clothing. 

Because this day was—and honestly, most days since it have been—almost unbearably hot, I opted for vintage bamboo heel sandals, my beloved 31Bits straw bag, and a high pony. Summery and just the right amount of special for afternoon mimosas. (Apricot and cardamom mimosas, to be specific. Yes, they were amazing.)  Casual and sweet. 

I'm happy to be back, looking forward to sharing my looks with you all again.
