Violet & Tiny Flowers

Wrap dresses are universally flattering but let me tell you something: they scare me a bit. It's something that happens to the best of us — you're walking down the street, enjoying the nice breeze, feeling the fresh air on your legs, and an unexpectedly strong gust of wind blows in and suddenly, you're flashing the entire block. This very incident occurred last week. I was walking to Rival Bros. for a mid-morning cold brew and I was betrayed by the Realisation Par wrap dress I was wearing. (As seen at the #StylishlySonesta party!) Of course, there was an "older woman" who was so disturbed that she decided to angrily let me know that she could SEE MY UNDERWEAR. (I know... the audacity! What was I thinking?) I told her that I was just glad I was wearing any. (Where's the lie?)

Anyway, this is why I love wrap dress season. It keeps us humble. What do you think about this one? Though it is a little short, and ruffles + large breasts can be a difficult combo, I felt great in this getup and I can see it getting repeats in the future. Alright, so it may be a few Insta trends layered on top of each other, but I still feel like it was thoroughly me.
